Senior Administrative Assistant

Department:
  • Underwriting and Surveillance, Financial Guaranty, and Quantitative Analysis
Job Summary:
  • To support the Underwriting & Surveillance, Financial Guaranty, and Quantitative Analysis Teams with their administrative needs
Job Requirements:
  • A self starter who is well organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
  • Ability to arrange and coordinate travel arrangements and conference schedules
  • Ability to undertake multiple assignments independently
  • Must be comfortable supporting a group of people and juggling multiple priorities
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Organize and support the Chief Underwriting Officer, Senior Vice President for Financial Guaranty, and their teams
  • Prepare letters, documents and spreadsheets as directed
  • Provide support to the CEO's Assistant and administrative team as needed, including major bulk mailings, organizing mailing packets for conferences, typing labels, check requests and filings
  • Maintain department filing, library, subscriptions to journals and ratings services
  • Maintain departmental calendars
  • Make complete travel arrangements
  • Track departmental budgets and prepare payment requests
  • Gather basic information on corporate credits via internet and rating agency sites
  • Prepare and maintain financial guaranty policy files
  • Track financial guaranty premium receipts
  • Prepare itineraries for business meetings and conferences
  • Assist in preparation of corporate presentations
  • Coordinate special projects
  • Proofread various documents for accuracy
  • Interact with external parties as needed
  • Provide coverage to the reception area as required
  • Prepare expense reports
